### Job summary

We are excited to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated 1.0 wte Band
6 Specialist Practitioner and Supervisor (trainee or qualified) to join
Children and Family Health Devon within our Mental Health Support Teams (MHST)
and Child Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) services.

This rewarding role sits within our early intervention
pathway, supporting children and young people experiencing mild to moderate
mental health difficulties, including anxiety and low mood. The MHST Specialist Practitioner and
Supervisor post also contributes to the development of whole-school and college
approaches to emotional health and wellbeing across education settings.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and

support for children, young people, and families across Devon and Torbay.

For applicants who are not yet qualified supervisors, we
offer the opportunity to undertake the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in
Clinical Supervision of Psychological Therapies Practice at the University of
Exeter as part of the role.

Our MHSTs include Education Mental Health Practitioners
(EMHPs) and Child Wellbeing Practitioners (CWPs) delivering evidence-based
interventions within schools and community settings. As a Specialist
Practitioner and Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting staff
practice, maintaining high standards of care, and helping shape an evolving and
innovative service model.

### Main duties of the job

As a Specialist Practitioner and Supervisor, you
will provide clinical supervision and professional support to EMHPs and CWPs
working within the MHST and CWP pathways.

You will help ensure children and young people
receive safe, effective, and evidence-based low intensity interventions
tailored to their needs.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing clinical supervision and reflective
practice to EMHPs and CWPs

Supporting practitioners to deliver
evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health difficulties

Contributing to the development and delivery of
the MHST early intervention pathway

Supporting whole-school and college approach
activity in partnership with education settings

Promoting safe, effective, and consistent
clinical practice across the service

Contributing to service development and quality
improvement initiatives within a growing and evolving model

Working collaboratively with colleagues across
Children and Family Health Devon and partner agencies

Maintaining accurate clinical records and using
routine outcome measures to support care and evaluation

Participating in supervision, training, and
ongoing professional development opportunities
