The work in the community includes a varied caseload of Respiratory, Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic and Neurology conditions. You will have direct access to clinical specialists for support with complex patients. You should be used to working in a multidisciplinary integrated environment, have significant post registration NHS experience and have excellent communication skills. Therapy provides an comprehensive in-service training program and support staff with their post graduate training. The opportunity to develop leadership skills such as the development and delivery of education, supervision, mentorship, research and service development. ### Main duties of the job To assess, diagnose, plan and develop specialised physiotherapy treatment programmes for patients/clients with a wide variety of physical/mental health needs in a community setting. To manage a caseload of community based patients with complex needs using specialist skills and evidence based/patient centred principles. To supervise/train inexperienced physiotherapists/ assistants/ students working within the service.
