This is an exciting opportunity to deliver expert palliative and end‑of‑life care across acute, community and integrated settings, supporting patients with complex needs and their families. As a Band 7 CNS, you will provide advanced clinical leadership, specialist assessment, care planning, and education, working collaboratively across organisational boundaries to ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care. We also welcome applications from experienced Band 6 nurses with a strong interest in palliative care who wish to develop into a Band 7 role. A structured development and supervision programme will be offered to support progression for suitable candidates. We are looking for candidates who have: - Registered Nurse status with significant post‑registration experience - Specialist knowledge and experience in palliative and end‑of‑life care - Excellent communication, leadership and multidisciplinary working skills - Commitment to education, service development and quality improvement If you are passionate about improving outcomes and experiences for people with life‑limiting illness, we would love to hear from you. ### Main duties of the job Secondment opportunity considered for existing Trust staff, discussion with current line manager advised prior to application To provide a highly specialist palliative care service for people with life-threatening illness, aiming to enhance quality of life for patients and carers with complex physical, psychological and emotional needs.  To manage a caseload and assess and evaluate the care given.
