The Louis Dundas Centre for palliative care at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). The Louis Dundas Centre is a world-class centre of research, teaching and practice in palliative care for children and young people. The post sits within the Long Term Health (LTH) psychology team, which is a part of the Psychology and Mental Health Service. ### Main duties of the job The post holder will ensure the systematic provision of a high-quality clinical psychology service to patients and families within the Louis Dundas Palliative Care Team including specialist assessment, complex formulation and evidence-based interventions. They will also be expected to provide consultation and expertise to the multi-disciplinary team members, including facilitating debriefs and reflective practice. The post holder will be joining a group of clinical psychologists and wider psychosocial professionals across the hospital. In addition, the post holder will manage newly qualified psychologists, assistant psychologists and other more junior staff as agreed with the consultant psychologists for the cluster. They will also provide supervision to qualified staff, assistant psychologists and/or psychology trainees as appropriate. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the flexible delivery of psychology services across the Trust, in response to new developments and organisational changes.
