The post holder will manage an independent caseload, providing high-quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention across acute medical and orthopaedic services, with a commitment to person-centred, evidence-based care.

A unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to support the development of Occupational Therapy within the Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU). With supervision from an experienced Band 7 Occupational Therapist, you will gain specialist critical care rehabilitation skills while helping shape this developing service.

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team, Principal Occupational Therapist, Discharge Liaison Team and Local Authority partners to support effective cross-boundary working and positive patient outcomes throughout the care pathway.

### Main duties of the job
