As the major Neurosciences Centre for Greater Manchester, Salford offers an exceptional environment for developing advanced neurorehabilitation expertise. In this role, you will work with patients presenting with a wide range of complex neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, neurosurgical conditions, and rapidly evolving neurological presentations. You will be involved in early rehabilitation, functional assessment, cognitive evaluation, splinting, and discharge planning within a fast‑paced, supportive MDT. One key aspect of the post is the assessment and treatment of patients with Persistent Disorders of Consciousness (PDOC) and other low‑level presentations. You will receive structured training and supervision from two experienced Band 7 PDOC specialist OTs, alongside support from our Band 8a Neurorehabilitation Specialist OT.
