You will provide specialist midwifery input within tertiary multidisciplinary clinics, coordinate and lead maternal medicine multidisciplinary team meetings, and review patients across a variety of settings including maternity services, medical and surgical wards, critical care and the emergency department. You will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure timely, safe and effective care, while facilitating clear communication between all professionals involved. The post holder will contribute to the ongoing development of maternal medicine services and support the education and professional development of midwifery colleagues across the Trust. Working alongside the Network Lead Midwife, you will also contribute to governance, quality improvement and service development initiatives. A central aspect of the role is providing personalised, evidence-based care that supports informed decision-making and respects individual preferences throughout the pregnancy journey.
