The main base for this post will be at James Paget University Hospital with some sessional time delivered at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. A candidate who is unable for personal reasons to undertake the duties of a whole-time post will receive equal consideration. If such a candidate is appointed the job content will be modified as appropriate in consultation with consultant colleagues and local management. The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust are now working in partnership as the Norfolk and Waveney University Hospitals Group. ### Main duties of the job Principle Job Purpose: To work in close association with the Consultant Urologists and associated specialties to provide a comprehensive general urological service at the JPUH and NNUH. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Clinical To provide management of in-patients and out-patients for elective and emergency cases. To contribute to networked stone service across JPUH and NNUH. To help reduce waiting lists in both out-patient and operating lists. To contribute to meeting the Care Group objectives. Organisational To undertake appropriate projects and administration as required by the department. Clinical Governance To provide clinical services in line with the Trust’s clinical governance arrangements which are designed to ensure that agreed quality standards are achieved.  These requirements include Audit, Continuous Professional Development, Risk Management and Revalidation. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please see the attached Job Description for the full details of the post and the person specification.
