This post provides a great opportunity for Specialist Drs or General Practitioners  to continue their professional development in one of the biggest and busiest trusts in the country, prior to applying for consultant posts. ### Main duties of the job This is a new and specific role. Successful candidates will have previous experience in obstetrics and gynaecology or be a General Practitioner with experience working in Maternity during training.  The role will work specifically within General and/or Speciality Antenatal clinics alongside a Consultant.  They will be expected to deliver 4 antenatal clinic sessions per week, working with the named Consultant.  It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be working with the same Consultants each week, seeking to provide continuity of care for the patients attending the clinics. The post-holder will work 4 half day clinic sessions per week. There is a Neonatal unit on both campuses, dedicated obstetric anaesthetic services, and inpatient and outpatient obstetric services.
