As a psychiatrist, we are looking for a forward thinking, dynamic change agent who would offer first class clinical leadership within our Mental Health services. Clinical work will focus on inpatients and those attending the Emergency Department in Queen Alexandra Hospital. ### Main duties of the job The Adult Liaison Psychiatry Specialist Doctor post will be part of a wider Liaison team covering adults and older adults. This post exists alongside another adult consultant liaison psychiatrist covering the 18-65-year-old patients. The post is envisaged to bring additional seniority and experience to the team. In addition, there are three experienced consultant psychiatrists for older people's liaison (one 8 PA, one 7 PA and one 6 PA) post.
