### Experience

**Essential**

- Post registration experience of working with patients who require nutritional support
- Experience of working as part of a dietetic team and the wider MDT.
- Experience of training student dietitians
- Experience of working within gastroenterology or Oncology remit.

**Desirable**

- Involvement in audit and research.
- Experience of line managing qualified or clinical support staff

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Degree/Diploma in Dietetics
- HCPC Registration
- Evidence of post registration clinical update course or equivalent in relevant subject

**Desirable**

- Membership of British Dietetic Association
- Membership of the Gastroenterology or Oncology Specialist Group of BDA
- Completion on PENG Course
- Attendance of student supervisory skills course
