We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Specialist Community Dietitian to join our friendly and innovative Nutrition and Dietetic Service. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills across a varied caseload, working across community settings including patients’ homes, GP practices, community hospitals, and virtual platforms.

You will work as an autonomous practitioner delivering evidence-based dietetic care to a diverse population, including patients requiring specialist interventions such as home enteral nutrition and low-FODMAP diets. The role also offers opportunities to be involved in service development, student training, and quality improvement initiatives. If you are a proactive and adaptable dietitian who enjoys working across settings and making a real difference to patients’ lives, we look forward to hearing from you.

### Main duties of the job

- Manage and prioritise a diverse clinical caseload across community and outpatient settings

- Deliver specialist dietetic assessment, treatment, and care planning for adults and children

- Provide dietary interventions including low-FODMAP and home enteral nutrition (HEN)

- Deliver care across multiple settings including domiciliary visits, clinics, and virtual consultations

- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and across partner organisations

- Plan and deliver education and training for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals

- Support service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives

- Contribute to student training and supervision programmes

- Communicate complex nutritional information clearly and effectively to a range of audiences

- BSc (Hons) Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics (or equivalent) and HCPC registration

- Experience managing a varied dietetic caseload and delivering evidence-based intervention

- Strong organisational and clinical reasoning skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver education and work collaboratively across teams

### Previous Experience

**Essential**

- Strong experience of working in a variety of dietetic settings and partnership working

**Desirable**

- Previous experience using virtual platforms for patient consultations

### Additional Requirements

- Car driver and owner

- Is proficient in the use of email, internet and Microsoft software packages

### Education/Qualifications/Training
