### Job overview

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified clinical psychologist, CBT therapist or CAMHS clinician with post graduate CBT qualifications to join our dynamic and supportive Wellbeing Team within Camden CAMHS.

You will provide training, supervision, and leadership to band 4-6 wellbeing practitioners and will support the team manager with service development. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of CBT practitioners in training and the wellbeing pathway.

The Wellbeing Team supports with intake, provides individual and group CBT and parenting interventions to children, young people, and families with mild to moderate mental health and behavioural difficulties within Camden.

The Wellbeing Team work closely with North and South Camden Community Teams who support Camden young people’s (0-18) with evidence-based therapeutic interventions, from assessment to treatment. These multi-disciplinary teams are staffed by experienced CAMHS clinicians including psychologists, child psychotherapists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, nurses and family therapists. CAMHS work closely with Schools, GP’s, Social Care and Third Sector organisations.

We have a strong focus on the wellbeing, supervision, and development of our staff. We will accept flexible working and part time applications above 8 sessions. Must be able to work on Wednesday.

### Main duties of the job

- Clinical duties, supervision and leadership
- The post holder will hold their own highly complex caseload within the team including risk management and clinical governance
- Provide clinical supervision to trainees and less experienced practitioners
- Provide consultation as required to external agencies, for example to GPs/Schools/Local Authorities
- Undertake clinical assessments of service users/patients and offer skilled treatment or therapy using appropriate therapeutic modalities such as \[provide examples\]
- To ensure, where appropriate, agreed standardised assessment questionnaires are completed with clients as per team protocol and to systematically collect data on caseload as required by the team lead/manager
- To formulate specialised programmes for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of a service user/patient’s psycho-social difficulties taking into account multiple theoretical differences and employing methods based upon evidence of efficacy

- Experience of working at all levels of the system with internal and external stakeholders
- Expertise of managing and treating the client group Some experience of clinical supervision

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Degree level as a minimum plus developed specialist and practical knowledge equating to postgraduate degree/ Masters level
- Post graduate qualification in Children and Young Person CBT or CBT training as part of Clinical Psychology qualification.
- Registration with HCPC or relevant body as a Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist; Social Worker, Nurse or CBT Therapist
