The post is based in the experienced multidisciplinary Learning Disability and Neurodevelopmental Team in Greenwich CAMHS. The post involves delivering a highly specialist psychology service to children and young people with a wide range of emotional, psychological and mental health difficulties, who also have a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD or a Learning Disability. There is a strong psychological therapies presence in the team, with multiple Clinical Psychologists, an Assistant Psychologist, CBT Therapist, Art Therapist and Family Therapist. Psychology offers a range of evidenced based therapies, such as CBT, CFT, Narrative Therapy and EMDR within the team, embedded within a neuro-affirmative approach. The post holder will also have opportunities to develop skills in NVR. Greenwich CAMHS is very fortunate to be located next to the beautiful Oxleas Woods. The woodland attached to our site is increasingly being incorporated into our therapy offer and ways we support staff wellbeing. The post holder will be part of a large and well-established psychology team. We offer excellent support, regular supervision, and CPD opportunities. There are established links with psychology across the three Oxleas boroughs including shared professional development events. ### Main duties of the job Aspects of the role include providing specialist psychological assessment, intervention and treatment; undertaking goal-based case management; supervising trainee clinical psychologists; offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues within and outside the organisation; and utilising research skills for audit, service development and research projects within the service.
