### Job overview

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Clinical Psychologist to provide a highly specialist service for neurodiverse young people in the Borough of Greenwich. The post is based in the experienced multidisciplinary Learning Disability and Neurodevelopmental Team in Greenwich CAMHS. The post involves delivering a highly specialist psychology service to children and young people with a wide range of emotional, psychological and mental health difficulties, who also have a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD or a Learning Disability. There is a strong psychological therapies presence in the team, with multiple Clinical Psychologists, an Assistant Psychologist, CBT Therapist, Art Therapist and Family Therapist. Psychology offers a range of evidenced based therapies, such as CBT, CFT, Narrative Therapy and EMDR within the team, embedded within a neuro-affirmative approach. The post holder will also have opportunities to develop skills in NVR.

Greenwich CAMHS is very fortunate to be located next to the beautiful Oxleas Woods. The woodland attached to our site is increasingly being incorporated into our therapy offer and ways we support staff wellbeing.

The post holder will be part of a large and well-established psychology team. We offer excellent support, regular supervision, and CPD opportunities. There are established links with psychology across the three Oxleas boroughs including shared professional development events.

### Main duties of the job

Aspects of the role include providing specialist psychological assessment, intervention and treatment; undertaking goal-based case management; supervising trainee clinical psychologists; offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues within and outside the organisation; and utilising research skills for audit, service development and research projects within the service. In addition, the postholder will be expected to work autonomously within professional guidelines, consistent with CYP-IAPT principles and within a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to overall service delivery as required.

- To formulate and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of a client’s mental health problems
- To be responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions for individuals, carers, families, and groups,
- To evaluate and make decisions about treatment options.
- To provide professional and clinical supervision of assistant/graduate psychologists and, as appropriate.
