The postholder will support the MMPS clinical teams with Best Value Medicines to deliver a programme of work that optimises the use of best value medicines in agreed clinical areas. Develop project management support for the BVM programme to plan, track and support the delivery of the programme of work related to medicines switches. Woking alongside clinical pharmacists, develop the role of Specialist Technician validation, sharing best practice and developing training plans and guidance. This will include amongst others the validation of homecare prescriptions and, validation and ordering of medicines used for treatment on the day case unit.
