The role of Sous Chef at Avery Healthcare is focused on supporting the head chef in leading a culinary team that offers a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality culinary service to the residents within budget constraints. Responsibilities include preparing modified diets following IDDSI guidance, supervising culinary staff, ensuring highest food hygiene standards, and supporting team members in understanding the Avery Food safety management system. To be successful, candidates must live the company's values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability, holding a relevant catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2, NVQ or equivalent, with at least 1 year of catering experience.
