Skills & Experience Required - Relevant postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound, such as DMU, PGC/D or equivalent. - Current professional registration, such as HCPC registration, where applicable. - Strong clinical experience and competence across the ultrasound examinations within your scope of practice. - Ability to scan and report independently, exercising sound clinical judgement. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures and provide sensitive information to patients. - Ability to work confidently with patients who may be anxious, distressed or have complex needs. - Good understanding of professional standards, clinical governance, patient confidentiality and safeguarding. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining CPD and fitness to practise. - Experience using PACS and patient management systems. - Flexibility to work across different locations and respond to service requirements.
