The postholder will:

- work autonomously within agreed protocols to perform a range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations and provide independent diagnostic reports.

- provide training and education to all members of the team.

- Participate in any future 7-day service, working across all OUH sites as required.

## Person Specification

### Experience:

**Essential**

- Experience in Obstetric, abdominal ultrasound, gynaecological ultrasound including endovaginal scanning, and some small parts ultrasound.
- Confidence and ability to issue own reports on examinations
- Evidence of professional development

### Disposition:

**Essential**

- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to get on with all grades of staff

### Qualifications:

**Essential**

- Diploma/BSc in Radiography or Health related Science
- Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or DMU
- HCPC / RCT Registration or NMC

**Desirable**

- Case accredited

- Ability to work as a team, and independently
- Ability to organise work load
- Ability to self manage
- Adaptable/flexible
- High technical standards
- High patient care standards
