The role will focus upon supporting the development of NHS Social Work and the professional identity of our social workers and representing the Trust at regional meetings, ensuring learning and opportunities are conveyed and utilised 'in Trust'. Your experience as an RDaSH employee will begin with a robust Trust induction and continuing professional development (CPD) will be supported by dedicated monthly Trust Learning Half Days. ### Main duties of the job The post holder will provide a highly visible educational and leadership role for all Social Work staff across all directorates, with a specific focus on children services. Working with clinical and operational leaders across Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) to ensure compliance with professional standards and development of high-quality integrated care across the Trust. There will be a particular emphasis on social work student placements, the practice education of student social workers, support and supervision responsibilities to Experienced Social Workers, joint co-ordination responsibilities for Newly Qualified Social Workers undertaking the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme, to support and supervise their learning and development.
