We are recruiting a full time Band 6 Charge Nurse. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled nurse with clinical experience or a particular interest in the care of Outpatients Service Users. This is a substantive full-time Band 6 post – 37.5 hours/week, with 7.5 hours per shift. You will have excellent clinical knowledge and skills and enjoy Multidisciplinary team working.

You need to be well organized, motivated and committed to further developing and delivering high quality holistic multidisciplinary care; and enjoy supporting the various specialties in the Outpatients setting including Dermatology, ENT, Rheumatology, Cardiology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Gastroenterology, Allergy, Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinics .

Your responsibilities will include deputising the Senior Charge Nurse, with one other Band 6 Nurse in the department. You will be covering and coordinating, taking turns with your colleague in a rotational basis.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

- Relevant post-registration clinical course/s
- Evidence of continuing professional development

- Degree level study

### Experience

- Minimum 3 years post registration experience
- Understanding of research and audit including implementation of findings and review of outcomes
- Teaching experience
