The successful candidate will be expected to work clinically within the multi-disciplinary team, maintain high standards of evidence-based practice while supporting staff on a shift-by-shift basis. Effective service delivery requires staff to be flexible and be able to work full rotating shift patterns. Candidates should have current NMC registration and extensive experience as a Band 5 within critical care. You must be a qualified Childrens Nurse with significant relevant experience and must also hold an intensive care qualification, SLIPs or equivalent and a leadership and management qualification. The service has 16 intensive care beds and 6 high dependency beds.
