Please see below for detailed job description of the role. ### Main duties of the job As a Sister/Charge Nurse in the cardiac catheter labs you will play a key role in leading a fast paced, expanding service that delivers high quality interventional cardiology care. You will support the daily running of four cardiac catheter labs and general anaesthetic recovery, with a fifth lab due to be operational in 2027.  Your management and leadership will directly support safe, efficient patient care and you will provide a central role in developing junior staff through mentorship and training. You will take on the role of the nurse in charge on a rotational basis, coordinating activity across the labs and supporting the wider multidisciplinary team.  As a clinical expert you will undertake projects to enhance our service and work with the wider team to ensure a positive patient experience with a forward thinking ethos. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a wide range of cardiology scrub procedures, including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart interventions, heart failure therapies, and both congenital and paediatric cases.
