This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative simulation team within Medical Education. The postholder will support the multi-professional simulation programme, contributing to the delivery of high-quality education and training to improve patient care, outcomes and safety. This is a highly varied role involving the delivery and development of simulation-based education, working closely with clinical and education teams across the Trust. It is well suited to an ST3+ doctor interested in developing skills in education, leadership and programme delivery within a large teaching Trust. ### Main duties of the job The postholder will work with clinical teams and education leads to deliver multidisciplinary simulation across the Trust. This includes designing, delivering and evaluating educational interventions to improve understanding of patient safety, including learning from serious incidents and never events. The role will support the development and delivery of simulation programmes for resident doctors, international medical graduates, locally employed doctors, allied health professionals and nursing staff.
