The postholder will be responsible for delivering the contraception and sexual health needs for patients attending the service. They will work closely with the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Lead to manage complex contraception and support efforts to increase contraception provision for the local population. They will also be actively involved in delivering SRH teaching & training within the department and externally. The post will consist of 8 programmed activities per week, including one evening. Sessions will be mainly held at the Barking site, but the postholder may also need to do clinics at Queen’s Hospital, Ilford Exchange and Harold Wood Hospital. This post would be suitable for someone with experience in contraception who is able to fit LARC devices and who has worked in Sexual Health services previously.
