Job Summary
The Service Manager  Biomedical Science will play a key leadership role within the National Pathology Imaging Co-operative (NPIC), managing a complex portfolio of projects and operational services that support innovation, service improvement and high-quality patient care. Working closely with clinical teams, managers and external stakeholders, the post holder will lead the development and implementation of effective business processes, service redesign initiatives and operational plans to ensure the delivery of key performance, access and capacity targets across NPIC sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated leader with strong programme management, communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will provide line management to the NPIC Biomedical Science team, support strategic planning and business continuity, and drive continuous improvement across services. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, influence change and deliver sustainable service improvements aligned with NHS priorities and organisational objectives
