### Job overview

This is a crucial leadership role which covers the 8 Boroughs across the North East London footprint and supports the crisis pathway in Tower Hamlets. The role includes leading the NHS 111 option 2 crisis telephone and text line and supporting the operational lead in the Home Treatment and urgent crisis response team. You will have a passion for crisis care and will make a meaningful difference to those across the population who find themselves in a mental health crisis. You will have the opportunity to be innovative and to support the staff who work across the teams to develop and make a difference.

### Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide operational and strategic leadership to the service and have continuing responsibility and accountability for the development and delivery of a consistent, high-quality service, in conjunction with the Associate Director for Community Services.

The post holder will be required to provide clinical and management supervision to senior staff across the services.

The Service Lead will function as a clinical expert to the Team and to partner agencies, exercising a high degree of personal and professional autonomy, making critical judgments and decisions to meet the expectations and demands of this expert role.
