We are looking for 4 motivated and enthusiastic Therapy Assistant Practitioners to join our innovative Experts at Hand team, supporting the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services for children and young people across Cheshire West and Chester. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Occupational Therapists within a specialist consultation and support service, helping education settings, families and professionals develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to support children's participation, independence and wellbeing. As part of the Occupational Therapy team, you will work closely with schools, families and multidisciplinary colleagues to support the implementation of occupational therapy recommendations, sensory strategies and therapeutic programmes. You will play a key role in helping children and young people access meaningful activities, engage in learning and achieve positive outcomes in their everyday environments. ### Main duties of the job The main duties for the role are as follows: - To support the service delivery of the Sensory Processing Support Service (SPOTSS) in a graduated approach. - To support in the delivery of Universal and Targeted training sessions to a variety of stakeholders, including education colleagues, health colleagues, parents and wider MDT.
