You should have clinical experience of working with complex neurological patients and have the skills to support delivery of treatment plans to achieve long term rehabilitation goals. You will need to possess excellent communication skills. Therapeutic handling skills, personal care activities and splinting are used daily. Experience of using IT for procurement of equipment and working well within a team are essential. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Your main responsibilities will be to support the therapy team to provide assessment and treatment to patients following a neurological event. This will include individual work, joint working and group work in the future. Your role in the team may include completing transfers, mobility and exercise programmes under the guidance of the Physiotherapists. With the OTs your role will include shopping, cooking, insight, attentional and memory work. To  support in the provision of out patient spasticity clinic and to complete the training and competencies required.
