Applicants should be Operating Department Practitioners or Registered nurses The eye theatre suite is comprised of 3 operating theatres, a recovery area and a outpatient ward within a day case setting offering all aspects of eye surgery including ocular plastics, cataracts, glaucoma, corneal and vitreo-retinal, both adults and paediatrics emergency and elective work. Additional services include acute and chronic pain management and day case dermatology surgeries. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team in a busy Day Case environment and should be able to confidently assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. You must be organised with good attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. You must show enthusiastic leadership skills and the ability to act as a Line Manager. If you are passionate about shaping and developing the patient care of the future, then this would be the ideal position for you. We welcome applications from all motivated and dedicated individuals. We offer yearly mandatory training, in-house training and support as required.  Other training can also be arranged at the manager's discretion.
