### Main duties of the job

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will: Prioritise patient safety, taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns. Promote a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures) Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health's Quality governance framework and national standards, e.g. CQC/HIW/HIS Regulation, fundamentals of care, professional standards and evidence-based guidelines. Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients, families, friends and representatives with kindness, dignity, respect and compassion and support them to cope emotionally with their care, treatment or condition. Collaborate with other clinicians within the Hospital, building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery. Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital. Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare working with leading Consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide array of medical conditions and offer a wide range of complex surgery and services. We are proud to have received a "good" rating from the health care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency and oncology units. We've been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care and our Endoscopy service has achieved JAG accreditation. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities.
