Arbour Street, Southport£13.45 per hourFull Time - 40 HoursPriory Arbour Street has an opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join the team. Due to aspects of the role, you will need to hold a full UK driving license for a minimum of 3 years. Arbour Street is a semi-detached Victorian house, located on a quiet road, very close to Southport city centre. It offers residential support for three adults with a learning disability, who may also be on the autism spectrum.

### What you'll be doing

- Supervise and support the delivery of person-centred support and care
- Provide leadership during shifts, including handovers, role allocation, and effective communication.
- Ensure residents have person-centred plans in place and are supported to participate in meaningful activities.
- Deliver team supervisions and contribute to professional development.
- Administer medication safely and in line with procedures.
- Manage service users’ finances and contribute to budget management in accordance with policy.
- Complete and oversee accurate record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with legislation.
- Monitor and support team performance, addressing immediate operational issues as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge to ensure safe and effective practice.

- Previous experience as a Support Worker or Senior Support Worker is essential.
- Full UK driving license for 3 years (for insurance purposes)
