This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative role across two organisations.

The post is a joint role across Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for a dynamic, highly capable individual with excellent strategic planning, partnership working and programme management skills to become part of the Strategy & Partnerships team.

The role is pivotal to supporting development and delivery of the Trust’s strategic ambitions and annual objectives.

The ability to build and maintain credibility and excellent relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders is paramount.

### Main duties of the job

Their main duties of the role are to:

- provide leadership and coordination of the annual operational planning processes
- support clinical divisions and corporate services in developing their operational business plans (via the agreed processes and planning framework).
- lead the programme of activities related to partnerships and clinical collaboration between SFT & TGICFT, including any other external partnerships
- support the development of the Trust strategy including key enabling strategies
- ensure a robust framework is in place for the development, review and approval of business cases including post implementation review
- lead the development of priority business cases and tender bids
- support delivery of the Trusts’ capital programme

You will assume a dynamic, proactive role within the team to deliver high quality outcomes, managing several complex programmes and projects from inception to completion.

### Knowledge

- Knowledge of strategic and business planning within healthcare, including:
- interpretation of national policy and guidance,
- corporate strategies,
- clinical service strategies,
- annual planning and
- complex business case development.
- Knowledge and understanding of national policy and NHS plans

**Desirable**

- knowledge of the regional and local healthcare landscape in Greater Manchester & East Cheshire

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of working in a senior management role within health and social care
- Relevant experience in
- strategic and business planning,
- capital planning
- leadership,
- change management,
- service improvement,
- business cases, tenders, external bids and post-project evaluation.
- Leading, managing, motivating & developing a team.

**Desirable**

- Experience in
- creating benefits realisation plans

### Education & Qualifications

- Masters Masters degree level, such as MBA, or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
- Evidence of continuing professional development
