We are looking to employ enthusiastic and motivated Senior Staff Nurses who will provide visible and consistent senior support to the ward. The successful candidates will demonstrate effective clinical leadership and be able to deputise in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse, providing clinical and operational leadership, coordinating patient flow, managing risk and ensuring safe and effective use of available resources. The successful candidates will have a responsibility for teaching, supervising and assessing student nurses, nursing support workers and other members of the nursing team. They will plan and prioritise workload, delegate appropriately and contribute to the development of staff and the delivery of high-quality person-centred care. Applicants must have recent and relevant experience at Band 5 level, with an element of stroke care and have a genuine interest in developing stroke services in Moray. The ward operates 12-hour shifts.
