As a Band 6 nurse you will be responsible for the day to day flow of the department by ensuring the standards of care are met for children and their family / carers whilst in the emergency department, including delegation and deployment of the nursing team in the absence of a band 7. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities As a registered children’s nurse the post holder will provide leadership in care to children, young people and their families in the emergency department The post holder will be accountable and responsible for providing a high standard of child and family focused care.
