The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the leadership of the department and the co-ordination of the delivery of patient care. You will be able to demonstrate expert knowledge in emergency nursing and knowledge of the Trusts core values. You will ensure that the team is informed, trained and developed to enable care to be safely and effectively delivered to patients. You will need to be a team player, have proven leadership and management skills, be energetic, proactive and committed to your own professional development and that of others. ### Main duties of the job Clinical Leadership & Role Modelling: Maintain a nursing culture which is open to change, new ideas and concepts. Lead, motivate, and support nurses and clinical support workers; foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, wellbeing, and continuous improvement. Professional Development: Provide mentorship, clinical supervision, and learning opportunities; actively pursue your own professional development and encourage the same across the team. Operational & Resource Management: Manage staffing, rotas and equipment to ensure smooth, cost-effective, safe delivery of care.
