The learning and development opportunities are vast with dedicated training and development nurses based in the department. We offer both internal and external courses to help you to develop to your full potential in Emergency Nursing. We consider the Department to be an innovative, creative and friendly environment for those nurses who wish to provide high quality patient centred care. Our team is multi-disciplinary including Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Liaison, Emergency Department Assistants, Assistant Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Medical Staff, Ward Clerk, Housekeeper, Volunteers and a team of over 90 registered nurses. Fully rotational to a variety of shifts including night duty is a requirement of the post. ### Main duties of the job We are looking to recruit a full time Band 7 Senior Sister/Charge Nurses for our busy and transforming Emergency Department. As a Senior Sister/Charge Nurse you will manage the ED to ensure safe staffing, co-ordination and practice promoting the Trust’s Vision and Values within self and others.
