The post holder will work as a specialist nurse within Tissue Viability and Continence team, assessing patients with complex continence needs, providing expert knowledge and clinical care to patients within the acute setting. Deliver specialist skills in relation to triage, assessment, treatment and management of bladder and bowel dysfunction. Provide specialist advice, education and support to health care professionals, and members of the general public. Support and implement quality improvement initiatives alongside the lead for Tissue Viability and Continence and the lead for the Specialist pelvic heath team. ### Main duties of the job - Provide clinical expertise and specialist advice across the whole spectrum of the service. - Develop and maintain the competencies and skills needed to practice effectively ensuring up to date clinical Continence knowledge on key developments, interpreting and applying knowledge to practice through education and consultation with colleagues and patients.
