A vacancy has arisen for an experienced registered nurse to work within the Scottish Pulmonary Vascular Unit research team at the Golden Jubilee Research Institute.

The role provides the opportunity to use your clinical knowledge and communication skills to enhance patient experience of research. Well informed professional nursing judgement provides a valuable asset to patients and for the planning of delivery and implementation of research studies. There is also the opportunity to become expert in Research Nursing as a discipline, in addition to acquiring specialist knowledge of Pulmonary Vascular medicine.

Applicants should have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the Research Nurse Manager for Scottish Pulmonary Vascular research nurses and within the nursing and multi-professional team that supports the portfolio of research projects.

This Post is Fixed Term for 18 Months.
