We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. The post will be primarily based at Falmouth Community Hospital, with rotation to Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro, and other community sites as required.

You will play a key role in delivering a safe, efficient, and high‑quality general radiography service, supporting patient care across acute and community settings.

Must have experience in the NHS.

Must have experience in a imaging setting.

Undertake a wide range of general X‑ray examinations Justify radiology referrals in line with IR(ME)R and NICE guidelines Ensure compliance with radiation protection and safety standards Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team Support and supervise students, assistant practitioners, and junior staff Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and service development Assist with the maintenance and basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.

## Person Specification

### Experience

**Essential**

- Minimum 2 years in acute NHS environment
- Experience across multiple clinical settings
- Experience in clinical governance/audit

**Desirable**

- Trauma and emergency imaging
- Multi-site service delivery

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons)
- Diagnostic Radiography Current HCPC Registration
- Evidence of ongoing CPD

**Desirable**

- Post Graduate Experience

### Practical & Intellectual Skills

**Essential**

- Knowledge of IRR17 and IR(ME)R 2024
- Autonomous working with clinical accountability
- Ability to prioritise own workload and work under pressure
- Excellent IT skills necessary to use specialist imaging equipment.
- To carry out audit and contribute to clinical governance

**Desirable**

- Post Graduate Experience
