The Community Adult Eating Disorder Service (CAEDS) is a specialist team offering assessment and treatment to adults in Essex with moderate to severe eating disorders. This post is based at the Derwent Centre, Harlow. It will primarily cover west and south Essex, although may also involve working across mid and north Essex. Depending on experience this post can be offered as a developmental post/ preceptorship, in which case the successful candidate would initially be appointed at band 7 and would be supported to gain the knowledge and experience required for the band 8a role. ### Main duties of the job The post holder will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to adults with eating disorders in a community out-patient service. Where appropriate, the post holder will also take a lead in ensuring that family therapy or family interventions are available to those seen within the service.
