This post is a Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 months to meet the needs of the service and project.

If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.

The Senior Project Manager will manage one or more specific large-scale projects across the organisation in collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders including lead responsibility of the interpretation of national policy within the specialist area.

The project(s) may be part of a programme, or large stand-alone and they will be expected to be the planning lead with high level of autonomy.

Manage project staff.

- Experience of management and managing projects

- Experience of effective stakeholder working with external bodies

- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- People Management Skills
- Track record of complex problem solving in a project management environment
- Competent in the use of desktop applications
- Standard Keyboard Skills

**Desirable**

- Advance IT skills in range of desktop applications e.g., Excel, Power BI.
- Welsh Language Skills - Level 1 - 5

### Qualifications and Knowledge

**Essential**

- Educated to Postgraduate Diploma level in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
- Project and/or Programme management office qualification, PRINCE2, MSP or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continued professional development

**Desirable**

- Masters level qualification
