The post of Senior Practitioner for Complex Emotional and Relational Needs, based at Cromwell House in Eccles but working across GMMH Salford Division, is now vacant. The role is varied, involving providing  psychological interventions (SCM/MBT) in a group and 1:1 setting , managing a small caseload of Adults with a diagnosis of  Complex Emotional and Relational Needs, as well as providing input to the team to support, assess and manage the wider team caseload,  and supporting the wider leadership of the team. The post will be part of the trust psychological health hub, you will be working closely with psychology colleagues to provide the psychological pathway across the Salford division, expanding our non-pharmacological offer to the client group. The Practitioner will be working in a busy and dynamic multi disciplinary service,  in a supportive team whose focus is recovery for service users, development and growth of staff, encouraging ongoing learning and individual and service development . You will be supported by an established and cohesive CMHT and a key part of the trust transformation planning and action. ### Main duties of the job - Provide clinical leadership, supervision, support and consultation to all staff and the multi-agency team. - Act as a Care Co-ordinator for a caseload of up to 12 highly complex cases . - Carry out and develop detailed assessments and formulations in the wider team or service . - Contribute to the development of and provide therapeutic interventions via relevant clinical pathways,  engage with any relevant additional training which supports the role.  These interventions may include Structured Clinical Management (SCM) and Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT) among others - Provide specific training to the wider team/services  as appropriate. - Contribute to, deliver and facilitate therapeutic evidence based interventions - Collaborate and liaise with other specialist clinicians working with complex emotional and relational needs across the district  in developing services that deliver optimum evidence-based care for people. - Develop and contribute to  evaluation and audit - Provide support and specialist assessment/formulation . - Deliver and facilitate a reflective practice supervision group in the CMHT. - Contribute to the delivery of family interventions for complex emotional and relational needs in the team / locality. - Lead on specialised intensive clinical supervision in the locality team for clinicians working with service users presenting with complex emotional and relational needs. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please see Job Description and Person Specification ********************************************************************************** ## Person Specification ### Experience **Essential** - Post registration experience of working in multi-disciplinary in CMHT/Older adult setting or other relevant clinical settings and liaising with colleagues across services. - Demonstrable post-qualification experience of working with complex mental health difficulties, including problems associated with complex emotional and relational needs, and severe depression, anxiety, co-morbid substance misuse and trauma. - Demonstrable experience of providing clinical supervision and support to others with respect to their clinical work. - Demonstrable experience of managing risk and developing plans to support individuals and systems to do so. **Desirable** - Experience of participating in audit, service evaluation and research. - Experience of participating in the delivery of group interventions or providing group supervision / reflection - Ability to demonstrate further specialist clinical experience and development. - Experience of developing clinical pathways and services - Experience of providing training to colleagues and others ### Qualifications **Essential** - Registered Mental Health Nurse, Psychological Therapist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or similar professional qualification - Post graduate experience or post qualification education relation to Complex Emotional and Relational Needs - Either qualified in, or willing to train in the delivery of therapeutic interventions such as SCM/MBT **Desirable** - Additional qualifications in psychological interventions eg.
