## Job Content

### Job overview

Following an internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist with an interest in specialist medicine to join our integrated therapy team at Charing Cross Hospital.

The post holder will predominately be based on one of our 8th floor wards where they will help lead the team seeing a range of patients requiring therapy intervention prior to returning home or transfer to community rehab units. There will be a range of ages, conditions, co-morbidities and complex social situations to manage and the post holder will form an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, helping plan timely and safe discharges from the wards.

If you want to develop more confidence in your leadership, prioritisation, time management, delegation and problem solving skills, then this is an ideal opportunity for you. In addition, you will have supervisory responsibility for a rotational Band 5 Physio and will work closely with a Therapy Support Worker. Supervisory support and advice is always available.

We actively encourage members of the team to provide fieldwork education for students on a regular basis. Therefore, if you are new to student education we can provide you with an introduction to student supervision or if you are more experienced/would like to take students yourself, we can support you with that.

We need a team player with a positive outlook, enthusiasm and the ability to learn and develop new skills.
