### Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist passionate about pelvic health to take on a developmental band 6 training position, within Leeds Teaching Hospital Urogynaecology Outpatient Department. Applications are invited for a permanent Senior Physiotherapist post within the well-established, forward thinking pelvic health team here in Leeds. Part and full-time applications will be considered dependent on the applicant.

This is a developmental training post offered as part of Annex 21, Training and Development programme. This gives the opportunity to appoint a Band 5 as a development post for candidates who demonstrate potential but do not yet meet all Band 6 criteria. In house and external training is provided to achieve competencies for this role. Ideal for physiotherapists with a passion for pelvic health but have currently had limited experience in this specialist area. This post is suitable for someone who is currently a band 5 Physiotherapist who has an enthusiasm for pelvic health and is looking to specialise in this area, with supportive training.

### Main duties of the job

To perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patient with diverse presentations and complex physical gynaecological and obstetric conditions, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.
To be responsible for their own continuing professional and personal development.

This role is a training role. This role is offered as part of Annex 21, a Training and Development programme. Your pay will be a percentage of the top pay point for the qualified band. You will have to achieve competencies in your training to move through the training process; as per Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions.

New entry (no experience) 75% pay for 1 year.
Attainment of the department and pelvic obstetrics and gynaecology physiotherapy (POGP) band 6 pelvic health competencies will mean you will move to the full Band 6 scale if achieved in 1 year.
