Are you an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist looking for your next opportunity?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 MSK Outpatient Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive MSK Physiotherapy team.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical expertise within a varied secondary care outpatient MSK service, working with patients presenting with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. You will have the opportunity to build on your assessment and treatment skills while contributing to the continued development of our service.

Interviews will be held on Friday 25th September. Please note this post may close early if a high number of applications are recieved.

### Main duties of the job

As a Band 6 Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to:

- Provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based treatment for a varied MSK caseload.
- Develop your clinical reasoning and autonomous practice within a supportive team.
- Work alongside experienced MSK Physiotherapists and other members of the multidisciplinary team.We have specialists in lower limb , upper limb , hand therapy, oncology and rheumatology
- Deliver outreach clinics, providing physiotherapy services in community settings.
- Gain experience in and contribute to hydrotherapy sessions.
- Support and deliver rehabilitation classes.
- Contribute to service development, clinical supervision and the learning and development of colleagues and students.
- Develop your skills across different aspects of outpatient MSK physiotherapy

- In-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal diagnoses and their management
- Principles and practices of rehabilitation and ergonomics
- Advanced Clinical reasoning
- Literature search/review
- Current evidence based practice
- Detailed anatomy and physiology relevant to the speciality
- Health and Safety and Risk awareness

**Desirable**

- Falls re-education
- Benefits of exercise and education
- Triage for musculoskeletal patients
- Clinical Governance
- Role of CSP

### Experience

**Essential**

- Experience of working with assistants / technicians
- Experience of multi-disciplinary working
- Comprehensive range of junior rotations including outpatients musculoskeletal and orthopaedics
- In-service training and reflective learning in this speciality
- Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner
- Prioritisation of workload
- Directing patient care

**Desirable**

- Supervision of students in any environment

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- BSc / MSc Physiotherapy
- MCSP
- HCPC Registered Physiotherapist

**Desirable**

- Non-clinical courses
- Validated post registration courses
- LEO / leadership
