The successful candidate will provide specialist assessment and management of pregnancy-related and postnatal musculoskeletal conditions, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to women across antenatal and postnatal pathways. The post holder will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, managing complex obstetric MSK presentations including pelvic girdle pain, low back pain, abdominal muscle dysfunction and pregnancy-related mobility issues. The role also includes contributing to service development, clinical leadership, education, audit, and supervision of junior staff and students. He / She will play a key role in the development implementation and evaluation of specialist physiotherapy rehabilitation programmes and packages of care. As an experienced physiotherapist the job holder will assist in co-ordinating the activities of the team ensuring efficient and effective service provision.
