Based within the Fylde locality, you will work closely with the Chief Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in leading and supporting our team of Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants. We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Pharmacy Technician who: - Is passionate about supporting and developing others. - Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills. - Enjoys working collaboratively across teams and organisations. - Is enthusiastic about education, workforce development and service improvement. - Is looking to further develop their management and leadership experience within a supportive environment. ### Main duties of the job As part of this varied and rewarding role, you will: - Provide day-to-day leadership and operational support to Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants. - Support workforce planning, staff development and team coordination across the locality. - Act as an Educational Supervisor for learners and trainees within the pharmacy service. - Help coordinate learning and development opportunities for our growing number of cross-sector trainee Pharmacy Technicians, working collaboratively with partner organisations. - Contribute to service improvement projects aligned to Pharmacy and Trust objectives. - Participate in medicines reconciliation, audit activities, annual appraisals and quality improvement initiatives. - Support the continued development of safe, effective and patient-centred pharmacy services.
