Assembling raw materials and consumables ready for preparation. Using a disinfectant solution to prepare drugs and consumables for use in the clean rooms, to ensure they are free from contamination. Preparing sterile medicines using designated aseptic processing equipment and approved aseptic techniques, according to departmental procedure and written methods. Measuring and recording manufactured radiopharmaceuticals. Labelling and packaging finished products. To carry out environmental plate monitoring of rooms and isolators. To carry out final product testing (radiochemical purity testing) To be involved in the cleaning of clean rooms and isolators according to procedures in line with regulatory standards. Cleaning of laboratory equipment. To be involved in disposal of radioactive waste Receiving stock into the department.
