This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, effective and cost-efficient delivery of medicines across South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust. ### Main duties of the job You will: - Lead on homecare medicines procurement ensuring value for money and high-quality service delivery. - Support the monitoring and audit of controlled drugs, identifying and escalating risks. - Contribute to medicines governance, audit and quality improvement activities. - Provide operational support across pharmacy services. - Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and experience. You will be: Qualified Pharmacy Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience. - Accredited Checking Technician / Medicines Management experience. - Have strong organisational, communication and analytical skills. - Have experience in audit, governance, or procurement is desirable.
