Due to current Home Office Guidelines, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is unable to provide sponsorship for this role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is capable of working as part of our friendly team. The position involves working closely with the Pharmacy Technicians to assist in the dispensing and supply of medicines for Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In addition to this the successful candidate will work in the Pharmacy led Anticoagulant Clinic taking and testing blood samples.

### Main duties of the job

Key elements of the role are:

To assist in the dispensing and supply of medicines for Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

To carry out and report on routine finger prick blood tests for patients attending the Pharmacy led Anticoagulant Clinic.

To act as receptionist in the Pharmacy led Anticoagulant Clinic and pharmacy reception when required.

Candidates must have significant experience of providing Pharmacy Support Services and must hold a Level 2 NVQ in Pharmacy Services or be prepared to work towards it.

This post would be ideal for those working in community pharmacy and wanting to take a step into working within secondary care.

### Applicant requirements

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

- Good basic general education
- NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or willing to work towards this qualification – in which case the salary will be paid at 75% of top of Band 3 salary, until the qualification is obtained).
